All analysis and functionality provided by SEO FontScope occurs locally within your browser.
2. Permissions and Usage
To provide full functionality, the extension requests the following Chrome permissions:
activeTab
Allows the extension to analyze the content of the currently active tab only when initiated by the user.
scripting
Used to inject content scripts into the active tab to extract SEO, font, and color data. These scripts do not modify content or collect information.
host permissions
(e.g.,
<all_urls>
)
Required to access content from user-requested webpages for inspection purposes. The extension only reads the DOM when triggered by the user and does not interact with other sites in the background.
3. No External Communication
SEO FontScope operates fully offline. It does not send or receive any data to or from remote servers. All operations are executed within the user’s browser environment.
4. Data Security
Since no personal data is collected or stored, there is no risk of data breach or leakage through the use of this extension. We follow Chrome Web Store’s Developer Program Policies to maintain privacy and security.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy in the future to reflect changes in functionality or policies. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this page.
